Michael Keegan is Director of State Affairs for the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) based in Arlington, VA. Prior to joining NAHU, Michael served as Director of State Government and Public Affairs at DCI Group, a Washington-based consulting firm, where he managed lobbying and public relations campaigns for Fortune 500 clients in the firm’s communications practice. Previously, Michael worked at the American Legislative Exchange Council, the nation’s largest nonpartisan, individual membership association of state legislators, managing policy and strategy on financial services issues, tax and fiscal policy, and telecommunications reform. Michael also managed state lobbying efforts at the former Health Insurance Association of America.

A graduate of LeMoyne College and the University of Virginia, Michael and his family reside in Northern Virginia.
