Legislative Update featuring Jessica Waltman

Jessica Waltman is Senior Vice President of Government Affairs for the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU). NAHU represents more than 100,000 health insurance agents, brokers and consultants involved in the sale and service of health, long-term care, disability, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement and a variety of consumer-driven insurance products.
In her current position, Jessica coordinates all of NAHU’s legislative and regulatory efforts to advance the interests of professional health insurance producers. This includes NAHU’s lobbying efforts before Congress and the Executive branch, the association’s monitoring of the activities of all state legislatures, insurance departments and intergovernmental organizations and management of the association’s government affairs department.

Don Bolia, Peachtree Government Affairs will also be giving a State Legislative Update.

Don Bolia provides industry leaders with strategic advice on how legislative trends will impact their businesses and assists them in shaping policy debates at the state, federal, and local levels in Georgia.

 He manages clients’ relationships before the Georgia General Assembly, as well as numerous city and county governments and agencies. His background and experience especially give clients an edge on conducting business with local governments. Because of his key relationships at the municipal level, his clients are able to clearly communicate their message to the pertinent decision makers.
