Kevin is President and Owner of Superior State Employer Solutions, an employee benefits solution provider offering consulting and administrative services for their clients. Superior State provides plan administration and non-discrimination testing for Section 125 plans (including Premium Only (POP) and full flex plans with Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)), Section 105 plans (including Medical Expense Reimbursement Plans (MERP’s) and Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRA’s)), and Section 132 Transit Plans. Superior State also provides compliance services including COBRA administration, 5500 reporting, Medicare Secondary Payer reporting, Medicare Part D Notification, HIPAA Certificate of Credible Coverage, and Retiree Billing Services. 

Previous to his years in health care services, Kevin was an executive for KI, the 5th largest furniture manufacturer in the United States. Part of his time with KI included determining and implementing Consumer Driven health plans appropriate for the division he managed. Kevin has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Michigan Technological University.

Karen L. Kirkpatrick - Senior Compliance Advisor - Infinsource 

In the fifteen years Karen Kirkpatrick has worked with Infinisource, she has gained a national reputation for being one of the foremost experts on HR Compliance, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, Consumer Driven Health Plan Options, Health Care Reform and other benefit laws.  During her tenure at Infinisource, she has conducted more than 1,000 seminars, webinars and executive briefings on numerous federal insurance laws, human resource compliance and consumer driven health care.  She has written or contributed to several publications, including HIU, the magazine of the National Association of Health Underwriters, Thompson Publications and the National Health Information’s Consumer Driven Health Care.  She speaks at national and regional conferences including NAHU and SHRM events on both benefit and HR related compliance topics, as well as webinars for agencies and organizations nationwide.

Karen brings Infinisource the valuable expertise of many years of marketing and professional development experience with several prominent financial, insurance and restaurant institutions, including Northwestern Mutual, Shearson Lehman and DFR.  She has been actively involved with Toastmasters International, which helps individuals become more effective speakers, leaders and listeners.
