In this one-hour course, we’ll look at the current premium trends in the marketplace as well as some of the strategies to keep costs under control. We’ll then discuss the unintended impact on covered plan members from these cost-control strategies. Next, we’ll discuss insurance and non-insurance products that can help fill some of the gaps in today’s health plans and restore access to medical care for plan members. Finally, we’ll explain the importance of educating members about the difference between insurance and non-insurance products so agents do not misrepresent the products to consumers. Attendees will leave the presentation armed with new information that can help them provide better advice and more comprehensive financial protection to their group and individual clients.
